Ten tactics for increasing your sales
with the new CurrentInventory.net

This week SunBridge Capital launched its latest resource for helping brokers earn more commissions. CurrentInventory.net is a Web site you can use to offer your customers our off-lease equipment from Trucks at Hand. CurrentInventory.net allows you to maintain control of your relationships, because it does not include information about SunBridge Capital or Trucks at Hand.

As always, matching your customers with equipment from Trucks at Hand earns both you and the customer great benefits, like lower buy rates and reduced up-front requirements. You can also earn up to twelve points in commission. Take advantage of the program by using CurrentInventory.net in the following ways:

  • Send the link to the homepage to end-users via e-mail. Put the link in your e-mail signature to make sure you don't miss any opportunities. Or, give the URL over the phone.
  • After determining what type of equipment your customer needs, e-mail them the search results from CurrentInventory.net. You can cut and paste the contents of the Web page into an e-mail. If you are using Internet Explorer and Microsoft Outlook, go to the "File" menu in Explorer and click "Send" and then click "Page by e-mail."
  • Use the search function to find the best matches for your customers. For instance, try searching "Freightliner Tri-axle." You'll get search results for all the tri-axle Freightliner dump trucks. Or, try searching "2000 Sleeper" to see all the 2000 sleeper-cab tractors.
  • Link to CurrentInventory.net from your Web site. You can link to the homepage, or for a more customized look, you can link to subsidiary pages deeper in the site. For instance, your Web site could say "See available excavators" and link directly to www.currentinventory.net/search/category/49/Excavators.
  • Use the "Recently Added" page on CurrentInventory.net as a reason to stay in touch with potential customers. Send your leads the new equipment that may fit their needs. The page is at www.currentinventory.net/recent.
  • Contact your Web designer/developer to help you display equipment on your own site. The new RSS feeds provide a data delivery tool to populate your site with our equipment. (This requires a professional Web site expert on your end.)
  • Ask your Web developer if "frames" are an option. Also ask if he or she can use "CSS" to customize some of the content like the branding and contact information.
  • We pay up to 10% commission on cash sales too. Send the link to vendors who are in need of inventory.
  • If you receive a decline on a SunBridge Capital transaction but the application scored well enough for an approval on inventory, send the applicant a list of equipment for which they are "pre-approved." In general, applicants with a FICO of 575 or better, no bankruptcies in the past five years and a SunBridge Capital score of 360 or better can be approved on equipment from Trucks at Hand.
  • Become your own vendor! We pay commissions on cash sales, so even if you sell the equipment for cash or finance the equipment with another financing source, you can earn a commission from Trucks at Hand. (Be sure to check with the Trucks at Hand staff for specifics.)
