Dear Broker, here are your updates for this week...
M a r k e t i n g t i p Identifying maximum-potential equipment vendors Part two of a two-part series on leveraging data from SunBridge Capital to maximize your sales and marketing results
Last week we provided the top SIC codes for targeting your end-user marketing. This week we switch focus to deliver targeting information for your marketing and sales efforts to attract business from vendors. Using the SIC codes below to choose your marketing and sales prospecting lists will give you the highest degree of conversion from prospect to business partner. To obtain lists for prospecting by phone or mail, we suggest www.zapdata.com.
We analyzed each vendor for which brokers earned at least one approval from SunBridge Capital. The results are broken into two categories: by quantity and by percentage.
The first table shows which SIC codes contained the most vendors. In other words, this data is by quantity of vendors, but not necessarily by the quality of the respective SIC code. Using this list will target the largest possible number of vendors, but not necessarily the best conversion rate from prospect to partner.

The second table shows which SIC codes had the highest percentage of companies who were also vendors on approvals issued by SunBridge Capital. Meaning, there may not be as many vendors in each SIC code, but the companies in each SIC code have the highest likelihood of being vendors for deals you can get approved at SunBridge Capital. Using these SIC codes will give you the highest conversion rate from prospect to partner, but not necessarily the largest number of new relationships.

Most vendors are smaller companies with under $10MM in sales each year. Based on our analysis, the best opportunity in terms of earning a greater quantity of approvals lies in focusing on vendors fitting this profile.
Don't be deceived by the descriptions of these or any other SIC codes. Most companies self-report what type of business they do, so in many cases there is no formal "verification process" used. The best way to determine who you should target with your marketing is by analyzing past customers. (Also, not all the equipment being sold by companies in each SIC code can be approved by SunBridge Capital - monorails and cars, for example.)
There are tens of thousands of companies in these SIC codes that we have not seen business from. That means there are thousands of vendors who do not currently have access to the SunBridge Capital products you offer. Use the information above to precision-target your marketing efforts to realize improved conversion rates and overall sales success.

P r o g r a m a d v a n t a g e Streamline the approval process with our online directory of Web sites for Secretaries of State
One of the most common reasons SunBridge Capital cannot approve a transaction is that the corporation or LLC's Secretary of State listing is not found, is not active, and/or is not in good standing. Use our online directory of links to the Secretary of State Web sites to check the applicant's status as well as double-check members and proper spelling. This step may save you valuable time and help you earn more approvals.

If you are running Internet Explorer 7 under Windows Vista, you need the latest version of the Adobe Flash Player, which can be downloaded and installed at www.adobe.com/go/getflashplayer. At the top of the page, you will see a red icon with a link that says “Download Now.” Follow the instructions on the page to install the latest version quickly and at no cost. This new version of Flash Player was released by Adobe to correct a Vista compatibility issue that caused keyboard and mouse lag in some Flash-based applications. | |
